Meet The Team

Founder & CEO
Galadriel McGrail Polston
An integrative therapist, youth advocate, and passionate community-builder dedicated to reshaping how we approach mental well-being.
With a background in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and years of hands-on experience in youth work, therapy, and community development, Galadriel brings a holistic and human-first approach to everything Mindspace stands for. Her vision: to create a preventative, empowering mental health model — one that starts young, supports families, and grows with the community.
Driven by the belief that mental wellness should be woven into everyday life — not reserved for crisis moments — she has spent the last several years building a movement of early intervention, emotional education, and meaningful connection. From free youth counselling and weekly teen programs to volunteer-driven community cafés and summer camps with purpose, every initiative she leads is crafted with care, intention, and a commitment to long-term change.
Juggling multiple roles — including her work in social and environmental sustainability at the Gibraltar Football Association — she continues to lead The Mindspace Project with integrity, vision, and an unwavering passion for empowering minds and strengthening community.

Head of Operations & Public Relations
Abigail Manasco
Is deeply passionate about supporting the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people in Gibraltar.
As a Learning Support Assistant working closely with children with special needs, Abigail sees every day how crucial early support and understanding can be. Her journey into mental health advocacy began on a personal level, as a mother. When her son was just 15, he faced a difficult struggle with social anxiety. It was a challenging time for their family, but with the support of the Mindspace Project, he found the tools and confidence to grow into the strong young man he is today. That experience sparked a passion in Abigail that continues to drive her work.
Now, she gives back to the very charity that once supported her family. Abigail understands firsthand the power of early intervention and the importance of the right guidance. For her, it’s not only about supporting children when they are struggling, but also about building confidence, resilience, and self-belief to prevent those struggles from taking root.
In addition to her work in education, Abigail is a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and Personal Trainer. She strongly believes in caring for both body and mind, and in the transformative power of positivity and movement in young lives.
Having experienced both deep joy and profound loss, including the heartbreak of losing a son, Abigail chooses every day to live with hope and purpose. Her mission is to help children believe in themselves and to remind them and their families that they are not alone.
Abigail is committed to ensuring Gibraltar’s youth are seen, heard, and supported, and that is why the work of this charity means so much to her.
